Brief: Russian folk music concert

The Worthington Concert Association will host its first concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Concert Association will host its first concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center. Barynya, a Russian folk dance and music ensemble, will perform.

This is the first of four concerts sponsored by the association for the 2008-2009 season. With the purchase of a season ticket, which can purchased at the door on Thursday, members also have the opportunity to attend reciprocal concerts in Windom, Sheldon and Slayton.
