Brief: Forum planned for area candidates
The Jackson Area League of Women Voters will host a forum for area candidates today.
JACKSON — The Jackson Area League of Women Voters will host a forum for area candidates today in the Jackson County High School community room.
The forum begins at 2 p.m. with candidates for the District 22B Minnesota House seat. At approximately 3 p.m. the candidates who have filed for contested seats as Jackson County Commissioners will speak, followed at approximately 3:30 p.m. by the candidates who have filed for contested seats on the Jackson City Council.
Candidates will be asked questions to cover areas of interest expressed by the public, which is invited to attend.
