Last week we learned that AIG executives spend $400k on a junket after the federal government gave $85 billion to the failing company. AIG gave its executives expensive vacations at an exclusive resort where they spent up to $200,000 for rooms, $150,000 for meals and $23,000 for the spa.
What nerve! Don’t these people have any shame? They accept a massive public bailout, a welfare program for the wealthy, and then throw it back in our faces.
Bravo to Tim Walz for voting against this legislated fraud.
