Help needed for community dinner

WORTHINGTON — The 2008 Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be Nov. 27 at First Lutheran Church, 1200 Fourth Ave. All area residents are welcome.

Serving will be from noon to 1:15 p.m. Meals can be delivered to people who are unable to leave their homes. To arrange delivery, contact Terry Morrison, 372-7150, after 6 p.m. daily.

Assistance with food preparation and table set-up is needed. Volunteers should arrive at the church by 8 a.m. Nov. 27.

If possible, it is helpful to bring salads, pies and other desserts to complement the main meal. Other food and money donations can be delivered or mailed to Terry and Elaine Morrison, 710 Ninth Ave., Worthington 56187; or can be dropped off at First Lutheran Church. Checks should be made payable to Community Thanksgiving Fund.

To make arrangements for transportation to the meal site, phone 372-7150 after 8 a.m. on Nov. 27. Before 8 a.m., call the church, 376-6148.
