Letter: Sales tax committee thanks citizens for vote

To the citizens of Worthington:

Thank you for supporting the passage of the one-half cent sales tax on Election Day.

The vision and trust you have shown with the passage of this limited-time tax will continue the growth, progress and quality of life in our great community. The funds from this tax will be used to enhance our city with a new community center complex and much-needed improvements to our Memorial Auditorium.

Worthington can look to the future with optimism knowing that these two projects will continue to make Worthington a progressive city in southwestern Minnesota.
