Obituary: Paul Karstens

Paul E. Karstens, 78, of Trimont, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at Fairmont Medical Center Mayo Health System, Fairmont.

Surviving is his wife, Luella Karstens, Trimont; two daughters, Carol Solvik, Spencer, Iowa, and Diane (Steve) Hamilton, Lena, Wis.; two sons, David (Nancy) Karstens, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Doug (Deanna) Karstens, Blythewood, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home, Trimont, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church, Trimont.

The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical Covenant Church, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hills Cemetery, rural Trimont, with military honors by the Foster-Bernhardt American Legion Post 373 of Trimont.
