George Childress, 79, of Alvord, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at Sanford Hospital, Rock Rapids, Iowa.
George Childress, 79, of Alvord, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, at Sanford Hospital, Rock Rapids, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Jurrens Funeral Home, Rock Rapids.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church, Alvord, with the Rev. Carla Jensen officiating. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Alvord.
