For Luverne (0-4), Jon Fodness scored a team-high 26 points, while Ryan Hoff had 19 points and 14 rebounds. Josh Boomgaarden had nine points and six assists for the Cardinals, who will travel to Pipestone Area Jan. 3.
H-BC will host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Jan. 5.

IVANHOE — Aaron Frisvold recorded a double-double Tuesday night to lead the Panthers to a 26-point victory.
Frisvold scored 12 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for T-M-B (3-1), while Walker Schaar and Bo Kirsh each scored 12 points on the night.
Dominic Dolan added 10 points, while Josh Soupir rounded out the balanced scoring with eight points for the Panthers. Brandon Kirk dished out four assists.
For Lincoln HI, Brad Pape had 13 points, while Tanner Citterman scored 11.
T-M-B will travel to the Wabasso Holiday Tournament Monday.

ELLSWORTH — Brooke Kix and Andrea DeBoer combined to score 32 points to lead Ellsworth to a non-conference girls’ basketball victory.
Kix scored 20 points, and had five rebounds and four assists.
DeBoer scored 12 points and had four assists for the Panthers who had a 27-26 advantage at halftime.
Brittany VanOverbeke scored 15 points to lead Lincoln HI.
Ellsworth will host Hills-Beaver Creek Jan. 8 in its next game.

COMFREY — Starting on a 25-0 run, the Southwest Star Concept Quasars defeated Minneapolis Patrick Henry in the third-place game of the Cedar Mountain/Comfrey tournament.
Katey Granstra, who was named to the all-tournament team, scored 14 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Quasars (5-4).
Erika Post had 10 points and six rebounds while Betsy Voehl scored nine points and had three assists.
Luanna Henkels had eight points, while Maddie Collin had six rebounds and Michaela Rasche added six assists.

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — Three players scored in double figures to lead Central Lyon to a Siouxland Conference victory Tuesday night.
Kayla Cuperus led the Lions (7-1, 6-0) with 14 points, while Abbie Ackerman scored 11. Mary Schleusner added 10 points in the victory.
