Mallory Katrine Schaeffer, 21, of 730 Highway 9, Kensal, N.D. has been sentenced for felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime, possession.
She was also charged with two misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree DWI.
According to court records:
On Aug. 6 a state trooper saw her vehicle speeding on Highway 59 and observed that it lacked a license plate or any temporary license paperwork.
Her blood alcohol level tested at .10 percent and the trooper found a 4.8 gram bag of hallucinogenic mushrooms in the vehicle.
On Wednesday in Becker County District Court, Judge Joe Evans stayed adjudication of sentence for five years and placed her on supervised probation for five years.
She must serve 30 days in jail, with credit for two days served, and pay a $1,000 fine plus court fees. She can do STS work in lieu of the fine. She must get a chemical use assessments and follow the recommendations.
