Two die in snowmobile crashes

A 52-year-old Hibbing man was killed Saturday in a snowmobile accident in Itasca County, while a 22-year-old Cokato man died Friday in another crash.
The Itasca County Sheriff's Department says Duane Earl Lehman was on a trail east of Grand Rapids when his snowmobile left the trail and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In neighboring Cass County, authorities say 22-year-old Matthew Chrest lost control of his snowmobile and hit a tree late Friday afternoon.
Authorities are investigating the cause of that crash.
