BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Adrian defeats Edgerton in RRC tilt

EDGERTON — The Adrian Dragons were nearly perfect from long range in the first half of Thursday’s Red Rock Conference boys’ basketball game.
Connecting on 9-of-12 shots from beyond the arc, Adrian opened up a 54-23 lead at halftime en route to an 83-38 victory.
Brian Tjepkes (10 rebounds, five assists) scored 23 points to lead the Dragons, while Danny Parsley (six rebounds) added 18 points. Adam Diekmann (four assists) scored 15 points for Adrian, which finished 16 for 19 from the free-throw line.
Jordon Kontz (eight points) had six assists and five steals for Adrian, Jesse Brake had nine rebounds and five assists while Nate Reyne (seven points) pulled down nine rebounds.
Chace Hulstein and Codi Gunnink each scored nine points for the Flying Dutchmen (2-6, 1-4), who will host Lincoln HI Monday.
Adrian (5-2, 4-1) will travel to Garretson, S.D., Saturday to play in the Border Clash.

TRACY — It was a tale of two halves for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Thursday night.
Leading 39-29 at halftime, T-M-B was outscored 35-21 in the second half as Minneota came away with the four-point victory.
Brandon Kirk scored 17 points to lead the Panthers (6-4, 3-3), while Walker Schaar had 15 points. Aaron Frisvold pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
Shane Hennen scored 19 points to lead the Vikings (10-3, 5-2) to the Camden Conference victory.
T-M-B will travel to Jackson tonight in a non-conference contest.
