Letter: Bingo alive and well in Okabena

We have heard there is a rumor going around that the American Legion in Okabena is not having Bingo. We want to report this is false.
We have Bingo on every Sunday except Easter and Christmas week, weather permitting. Doors open at 5:30, and Bingo starts at 6:30. We did not have Bingo in December because of inclement weather. We do not want to put our customers in harm’s way.
You can call (507) 853-4575 to check to see if there is Bingo on Sunday when the weather is questionable.
