Obituary: Lorraine Carlson

Lorraine Audrey Carlson, 80, of Garvin, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009 at her home in Garvin.

Surviving are seven sons, Tom (Shirley) Carlson, Slayton; James (Jane) Carlson, Garvin, Robert (Mary Jo) Carlson, Mountain Lake, Francis (Sandy) Carlson, Garvin, John (Lori) Carlson, Tracy, Joel Carlson, West Concord, and Michael (Melissa) Carlson, Granite Falls; four daughters, Kathleen (Doug) Bloemke, Winona, Paulette (Joe) Stefanick, Garvin, Camilla (Jim) Schmidt, Flandreau, S.D., and Marlene (Robbie) Morgan, Tracy; one brother, Harold (Verna) Schaffer, Slayton; one sister, Rosaline (Floyd) Pyle, Oxnard, Calif.; 30 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at Lake Sarah Lutheran Church, Garvin.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lake Sarah Lutheran Church, Garvin, with the Rev. Jon Marburger officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, Slayton.

Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton, is in charge of arrangements.
