GYMNASTICS: Arrows edge Trojans
PIPESTONE — Pipestone Area’s Amber Haupert finished in the top three in every event Friday to lead the Arrows to a victory against Worthington in a gymnastics meet.
PIPESTONE — Pipestone Area’s Amber Haupert finished in the top three in every event Friday to lead the Arrows to a victory against Worthington in a gymnastics meet.
The Arrows finished with a score of 131.05, while Worthington ended with a 127.425.
Haupert won the vault with a score of 9.075, while teammate Shanda Bogstad was second with an 8.950.
Worthington’s Paige Kinley was third with a score of 8.9.
On the bars, Worthington’s Taylor Erwin finished first with a score of 8.5, while Haupert was second with a score of 8.2. PA’s Courtnie Evans was third with an 8.1.
Haupert recorded another first-place finish with her 8.6 on the beam, while Evans was second with an 8.2
Londyn Swensen was third with an 8.05.
On the floor, Trojan Lynn Harberts finished first with an 8.775, while Haupert was second with an 8.65. Erwin was third with an 8.55.
In the all-around competition, Haupert finished first with a score of 34.525, while Harberts was second with a 33.275.
PA will travel to Jackson County Central Friday, while Worthington hosts Windom Tuesday.
