Kristie Hoffman made a key steal, and Chanel Madson converted a layup to give W-WG a one-point lead en route to a 38-36 victory against ninth-seeded Ellsworth.
Eighth-seeded W-WG will face top-seeded Adrian at 1 p.m. today in Worthington.
Between the two teams, a total of nine players scored.
Audra Schmidt led a quartet of Chargers who scored with 22 points.
She also pulled down 21 rebounds and had six blocks.
Madson scored eight points to go along with five rebounds and three steals.
Kassandra Jarmer added five points, four rebounds and three assists, while Kylie Erickson, who hit a key 3-pointer in the second half ,had three points, three steals and two assists.
W-WG, which was 11 of 29 from the field, was 13 of 17 from the free-throw line. Schmidt was a perfect 10 for 10 in the game.
Ellsworth was led by Andrea DeBoer’s 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Rayna Sandoval scored 10 points to go along with three steals, while Darian Herman (five points, six rebounds), Brooke Kix (six points) and Abby Drenth (two points) were the only Panthers who scored in the game.
Ellsworth, which was 15 of 25 from the free-throw line, ends its season with a 10-15 record.

Edgerton 61, RL-B 28
EDGERTON — Alyson Drooger outscored her opponent by herself Friday night.
Drooger scored a game-high 31 points to lead Edgerton past Round Lake-Brewster in the opening round of the Section 3A South girls’ basketball tournament.
Sixth-seeded Edgerton will face third-seeded Southwest Christian at 6 p.m. today in Worthington.
Drooger added 21 rebounds, four steals and three blocks, while Hailey Van Kley, Katie Hadler (six assists) and Emily Sluis each scored six points.
Racheal Steffl added six rebounds for the Flying Dutchmen (13-11).
Ceilia Schmitz scored six points to lead RL-B, while Karen Schmitz pulled down a team-high six rebounds.
Chelsea Meyer added five rebounds for the Raiders.

MADELIA — Leading by 10 points at halftime, the Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin girls’ basketball team held on to a nine-point victory in the Section 2A tournament.
Brittany Wenner led the Wolverines (2-23) with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Karen Herrig had six points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Macy Svalland scored seven points to go along with six rebounds.
ML/B-O will travel to face Granada-Huntley-East Chain Tuesday.
