DICKINSON, N.D. - On Thursday, a Dickinson resident reported some very unusual items were stolen and damaged in their vehicle, according to the Dickinson Police Department.
All the knobs on the dash of the vehicle — except the light switch, which was damaged — were stolen. The heater vents were taken or destroyed and the glove box and radio were taken as well, according to the police report.
The sun visors were pulled off but were laying in the seat of the vehicle and several wires under the dash were cut.
The vehicle had been left unlocked and was parked on Third Avenue East. Authorities estimated the damage to be about $1,000.
