Brief: Spanish workshops slated
WORTHINGTON — University of Minnesota Extension will conduct Spanish Home Stretch Classes in Worthington March 21 and 28; and in Marshall May 2 and 9.
WORTHINGTON — University of Minnesota Extension will conduct Spanish Home Stretch Classes in Worthington March 21 and 28; and in Marshall May 2 and 9.
The Home Stretch Workshop, taught in Spanish, will guide people through the steps to becoming a successful homeowner. Every participant will receive a certificate of attendance and completion.
The program includes units on becoming a home owner; money management; credit; mortgage loan; real estate 101; loan closing; and life as a homeowner. There is a per-person registration fee, which includes a notebook of materials, refreshments and lunch. Pre-registration is recommended.
The workshops will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at each site:
l March 21 and 28 — Nobles County Government Center, Third Floor, Room 310 (Former WIC office), 315 10th Street, Worthington.
l May 2 and 9 — Adult Community Center (Dining Room), 107 South Fourth Street, Marshall.
