As we enter this Lenten season, I was made aware of a disturbing fact:
My Webster New World College Dictionary defines Easter as, “orig... name of pagan vernal festival almost coincident in date with paschal festival of the church.”
After these many years of ignorance, I will now refer to this great Christian spring observance as Passover.
