The event will be at Solid Rock Assembly Church at begin at 8 a.m. This is a time where every member of the community can gather for a full breakfast, enjoy conversation and listen to a speaker that will motivate and inform you. Each year, the event takes place in a different area church or event center.

Terry Esau, from Minneapolis and a native of Mountain Lake, has had a career of writing advertising jingles for Target, McDonald’s and many more major businesses. He decided one day that he wasn’t really making people’s lives any better, so he began writing books and speaking to groups. He is the author of many interesting books. He will be speaking on his latest book, “Surprise Me, God.” This was an experiment where Terry wrote a journal for 30 days to see if God surprised him in any ways. He wrote with the everyday happenings, humor and how surprising each day can be in our ordinary lives.
