Lease-Salama

Amal Salama and Nicholas Lease were married Oct. 18, 2008, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Sioux Falls, with the Rev. Kevin Zilverberg officiating.

Parents of the couple are Adel and Kathleen Salama and Bill and Barbara Lease, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Maid of honor was Mona Schafer. Bridesmaids were Amy Salama and Emily Geraets. Flower girl was Elinor Parry. Personal attendants were Carrie Don, Charlie Nuss and Cary Hattery.

Best man was Ryan Geraets. Groomsmen were Neil Kucera and Nabil Salama. Ring bearers were Aidan Salama and Bennet Geraets. Ushers were Nick Larson, Ross Wright and Andrew Schafer.

Readers were Ross Wright, David Suman and Patrick McKeague.

Music was provided by Barb Evan, pianist; Jordan Beacom, trumpeter; Steve and Donna Hey, Veronica Dowds and Patricia Hamill, vocalists.

The reception and dance were at the Washington Pavilion, Sioux Falls, with David and Sue Suman hosting.

The bride is a graduate of medical school and a four-year residency program at Resurrection Health Care, St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Ill., specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She is employed by Avera McKennan, Sioux Falls.

The groom is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. He owns Pebble Beach Landscaping and Lawn Care.

Following a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos in the British West Indies, they live in Sioux Falls.
