WORTHINGTON — “Cent$ible Meals” workshops for child-care providers and parents are being presented by Dena Berghorst, area coordinator for Providers Choice.
Area workshops will be offered: from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 6 at the Rock County Family Services Building, 2 Roundwind Road, Luverne; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 7 at the Lincoln-Lyon-Murray Health Services Building, 3001 Maple St., Slayton; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 9 at Pizza Ranch, U.S. 71, Jackson; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 14, Crossroads Care Center, 965 McMillan St., Worthington; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 21, Cottonwood County Law Enforcement Center, downstairs meeting room, 902 Fifth Ave., Windom; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 27, Pipestone County Law Enforcement Center, community room, 408 S. Hiawatha Ave., Pipestone; and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 28, Crossroads Care Center, 965 McMillan St., Worthington.
The workshop is free and open to the public, however seating is limited, so preregistration is required. Food program participants will meet CACFP annual training requirements by attending this session.
