JACKSON — The Jackson County Central Drama Club will present “State Fair,” the popular musical by Rogers and Hammerstein, at 8 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday at the JCC Performing Arts Center in Jackson.

“I chose this musical because I felt that nobody knows what it’s like to be involved in the State Fair more than the people of Jackson County,” said director Tim McConnell.

The musical takes place near a small Iowa town in 1946 and follows the lives of a family excited to go to the State Fair.

Tickets can be purchased at Throndset Pharmacy in Jackson (Sunshine Foods) and Throndset Pharmacy, Lakefield.
