Adrian wins Subsection title

FULDA — The Adrian High School speech team earned the Sub-section 10, 3A speech team title Monday in Fulda. The 17-member team tied in point totals with Worthington, but won by having more first place individual winners.
Adrian students placing first in their categories were Chris Reisdorfer, extemporaneous speaking; Justin Feit, humorous; Jill Honermann, great speeches and Chantel Heeren, original oratory.
Twelve members of the team are eligible to compete at the section competition April 4 in Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.
Final point totals for the other schools competing were as follows: Luverne, 43; Fulda, 40; Round Lake-Brewster, 23 and Southwest Star Concept, 20.
