PREP BASEBALL: Tiesler pitches Dragons past Huskies

JACKSON — Luke Tiesler is nearly in mid-season form.

JACKSON — Luke Tiesler is nearly in mid-season form.

The junior hurler threw a complete game three-hitter to lead Adrian to a 10-1 victory against Jackson County Central in a non-conference baseball contest Thursday.

Tiesler threw all seven innings, allowing one run while walking two and striking out nine.

Andrew Paulson suffered the loss for JCC (0-1).

Adam Diekmann and Ross Wieneke each had three hits for the Dragons (1-0), while Jordon Kontz and Tiesler each added two hits for Adrian, which had a 6-0 lead after three innings.

Luverne travels to Adrian today, while JCC will travel to Martin County West.
