WORTHINGTON — Southwest Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Corp. is sponsoring Mobile Emergency Care Training April 17 and 18. This training is geared toward first responders, EMTs, paramedics and hospital personnel.
Hennepin Technical College has a 45-foot mobile simulation training unit that can bring the most realistic training scenarios to any location. The participants choose the learning objectives needed, and scenarios are custom designed to meet these needs. Simulation training provides individuals with the opportunity to improve and refine their pediatric and geriatric skills.
There is no cost for the training sessions.
Pediatric training will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 17 and 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 18. Geriatric training will be from 1 to 4 p.m. April 18. All sessions will be at the Worthington Fire Hall, 1215 Third Ave., Worthington.
