JACKSON — Trevor Hage had three hits and drove in three runs Tuesday to lead Jackson County Central to a 10-4 Southwest Conference victory over Windom.
Josh Wacker had a pair of hits for the Huskies (4-1, 1-0), who scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to turn a 4-3 deficit into a 10-4 victory.
Brock Thaemlitz earned the victory on the hill, throwing three innings in relief of starter Bryce Christopher.
Sam Fischenich suffered the loss for Windom in relief of starter Charlie Dunnick.
Joel Riordan had a pair of hits, including a two-run home run to lead Windom, which scored twice in each the third and fourth innings.
JCC will host Worthington Thursday, while Windom travels to Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Friday.

MARSHALL — Pipestone Area’s Michael Nettik ripped a one-out triple in the top of the eighth inning and then scored — what turned out to be the winning run — on a single to right field by Mark Abrahamson.
The Arrows (2-0, 1-0) held off the Tigers in the bottom of the extra inning, as PA reliever Brandan Alfson struck out the last batter to end a Marshall threat.
Bryce Beyers pitched the first seven innings for the Arrows, allowing just two hits and a trio of walks, while striking out seven Tigers.
Nettik led PA at the plate with a 2-for-4 day, while Cody Schulze, Jon Schelhaas, Alfson and Abrahamson also had hits for the Arrows, who host Luverne Thursday in a key early season Southwest Conference clash.

HERON LAKE — Luke Tiesler and Jordon Kontz combined to allow just two hits and the Adrian offense did the rest in a five-inning conference victory.
Adrian scored a run in the first, three in the second and nine in the third en route to the 12-run victory.
Tiesler earned the victory, allowing one run on one hit while walking four and striking out four in three and one-third innings.
Kontz allowed one hit while walking one and striking out three in one and two-thirds innings.
William Cranston was tagged for eight hits that led to seven earned runs in the first three innings, as he took the loss for Southwestern United.
Logan Glaser pitched two solid innings for the Wildcats, retiring six of the seven batters he faced, while not yielding a hit.
Adam Diekmann had two hits for the Dragons (3-1, 2-0), while Tiesler (2-for-2) had a two-run double and crossed the plate three times.
Brett Nowotny had an RBI single and a bases-loaded walk, while Kontz helped his own cause with a pair of RBI.
Tanner Loosbrock had two RBI, while Ross Wieneke had a two-run single.
Tyler Obermoller had both hits for SWU (0-2, 0-2) while Kirk McBreen’s bases-loaded walk plated Ben Cunningham (who had reached on an infield error) with the Wildcats’ lone run in the third inning.
Adrian will host Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Thursday, while SWU travels to Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin the same day.

SLAYTON — Justin Reinsma struck out nine batters in seven solid innings on the mound, and the Murray County Central Rebels scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to claim a three-run victory over Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin in a Red Rock Conference contest.
Reinsma allowed six hits, four walks and one earned run for MCC (2-1, 2-0).
Eric Wieneke (2-for-4) and Kyle DeLong each had an RBI for the Rebels.
Joey Gordon started and pitched into the fifth inning for ML/B-O before Jared Bargen finished the game.
Brandon Fast had a double and an RBI for ML/B-O.
MCC visits Edgerton Thursday.

EDGERTON — Brian Benedict went 1-for-2 with two RBI and earned a complete-game victory on the mound to lead Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove to its first victory of the season.
Benedict scattered seven hits, struck out seven, walked one and allowed just two earned runs to earn the win. Adam LaFolliete, who relieved Edgerton starter Alex Elgersma in the third inning, suffered the loss.
Dylan Bunting went 2-for-3 with three RBI to lead the Falcons. The freshman infielder delivered a bases-clearing single with a full count and two outs in RRC/W-WG’s four-run fourth inning.
LaFolliete went 2-for-3, and Elgersma went 2-for-4 to lead the Flying Dutchmen (0-2, 0-2), who will host Murray County Central on Thursday.
The Falcons (1-3, 1-1) will travel to face Adrian on Thursday.
