Police WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a burglary at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Lakehill Drive.
Accidents
SIBLEY, Iowa — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash at 10:33 a.m. Tuesday on Iowa 60 at Exit 48. Byron Lopau, 81, of Sibley, was driving too fast for the curve and entered the shoulder, where the vehicle rolled on its top. Lopau’s vehicle was a total loss. He was transported to Osceola Community Hospital with incapacitating injuries. Sibley Fire and Rescue and Sibley Ambulance assisted at the scene.
MAY CITY, Iowa — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday on Aldred Avenue. Delbert Schultz, 71, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, was driving a 1995 Dodge pickup when he experienced a medical condition and the vehicle he was driving left the road and struck a storage shed. Schultz was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead due to the medical condition. The storage shed sustained $6,000 damage, and the Schultz vehicle sustained approximately $3,000 damage. May City Ambulance assisted at the scene.

BREWSTER — The Brewster Fire Department was paged at 9:52 a.m. Thursday to a grass fire along Minnesota 60.
ROUND LAKE — The Brewster Fire Department was paged at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to a grass fire along Minnesota 264, near Nobles County 35.
