Brief: Blood drive set for May 7 at SRHW

WORTHINGTON — Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington and Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. May 7.

This blood drive will benefit the local blood supply.

Donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good general health the day of the donation. Bring identification.

It is recommended that donors eat and drink plenty of fluids before donating blood. It only takes 20 to 25 minutes to donate with Community Blood Bank. A person can donate blood every 56 days.

Community Blood Bank is the sole provider of blood and blood products to 29 local hospitals, including Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington.
