Brief: Program celebrates Archaeology Week

WORTHINGTON — In conjunction with Minnesota Archaeology Week, the Nobles County Historical Society is sponsoring a free evening lecture.

WORTHINGTON — In conjunction with Minnesota Archaeology Week, the Nobles County Historical Society is sponsoring a free evening lecture.

“Collecting the Collectors: Public Archaeology in Nobles County,” will be at 7 p.m. May 17 in the Farmers Room of the Nobles County Government Center, 315 10th St., Worthington. Speaker will be Jared Langseth, a graduate student at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Several items from the NCHS collection will also be displayed.
