The Cardinals, trailing by two runs, had runners on second and third with no outs in the seventh frame. But Dunnick induced a comebacker to the mound and allowed an RBI sacrifice fly before getting the game-ending out on a grounder.
The senior allowed three runs — one earned — on two hits while walking four and striking out six in a complete-game effort.
Ryan Gilbertson and Joel Riordan each went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Drake Borsgard added two hits in three at-bats for the Eagles (9-10, 5-7), who will travel to Heron Lake on Tuesday to face Southwestern United in their regular-season finale.

SLAYTON — Justin Reinsma took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and finished with a one-hit, complete-game gem to lead Murray County Central past Westbrook-Walnut Grove.
Mason Comnick ripped a single into right field with one out in the sixth inning to record the Falcons’ lone hit.
Reinsma, a senior, walked one and struck out 10.
Derek Platt went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, and Kyle DeLong went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI to lead the Rebels (10-7, 7-3), who earned the No. 5 seed in the Section 3A tournament and will face fourth-seeded Springfield on May 23 in Adrian.
Shane Schoborg started and suffered the loss for RRC/W-WG (2-17, 2-7), which will host Jackson County Central on Wednesday.

HERON LAKE — Southwestern United set program records for runs and hits (21) in a game en route to a lopsided victory against the Flying Dutchmen.
All SWU starters had hits, and five produced multiple-hit performances.
Tyler Obermoller went 4-for-4 with three RBI, and Derek Stenzel went 2-for-4 with three RBI for the Wildcats. Mike Stenzel went 2-for-4 with two RBI, and Kirk McBreen went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Ben Scheevel, who allowed two hits and an unearned run while striking out seven in three innings to earn the win, went 3-for-3 with four runs and an RBI for SWU (9-6, 7-3), which will travel to Northrop today to face Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain.
Marty Van Peursem went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI to lead Edgerton, which will host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on Tuesday.

MOUNTAIN LAKE — The Dragons won their 16th consecutive game and finished the season with a flawless record in the Red Rock Conference by cruising to a five-inning victory against Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin.
Jordon Kontz went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI, and Adam Diekmann went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Adrian, which exploded for nine runs in the second inning. Ben Suedkamp went 3-for-4 with two RBI, and Luke Tiesler added two hits in three at-bats.
Tiesler also allowed two hits and struck out four in four shutout innings to earn the win.
Steven Herrig and Jared Bargen each had a double to lead the Wolverines. Cody Penner suffered the loss.
ML/B-O (3-15, 4-6) will travel to Comfrey on Friday to face Cedar Mountain/Comfrey.
Adrian (17-1, 10-0) will travel to face undefeated Luverne on Monday. Adrian’s lone loss of the season came April 3 against the Cardinals, who earned a 17-6 victory in Adrian.
