PREP SOFTBALL: 5 Arrows named all-Southwest Conference
WORTHINGTON — With a perfect 12-0 conference record in the regular season, the Pipestone Area Arrows softball team recently had five members named all-Southwest Conference.
WORTHINGTON — With a perfect 12-0 conference record in the regular season, the Pipestone Area Arrows softball team recently had five members named all-Southwest Conference.
Junior pitcher Bailey Bouman, who was named to the Class AA state softball all-tournament team, led the selections for the Arrows.
Seniors Steph Rudie and Megan VanderPoel were also all-conference selections for PA, which finished third at the state tournament.
Juniors Emily Larson and Brooke Woelber, who was also an all-tournament team selection, were also all-conference members.
Jackson County Central finished second in the conference with an 8-4 record and had four named to the team.
Seniors Kate Rentschler, Kelsey Hakes and Sara Luhmann were all-conference, joining teammate Stacey Schuller.
Windom’s Alii Holt was the Eagles’ lone selection, as was Luverne’s Kat Dahl and Worthington’s Steph Behrens.
PA’s Sam Bloemendaal and Jessie Gergen were each honorable mentions, while JCC’s Shalee Nelson was also an honorable mention selection.
Windom pitcher Steph Utech joined Luverne’s Kelsey Theesfeld and Katelyn Brands as honorable mentions.
Worthington’s Kristen Dierks was also an honorable mention.
