AMATEUR BASEBALL: Lamberton downs Heron Lake

LAMBERTON — Keith Rogers drove in four runs to lead Heron Lake Tuesday night in an amateur baseball game, but Lamberton proved too much in a 14-5 victory.

Rogers suffered the loss on the hill, allowing 10 runs while walking four and striking out six in seven innings.

Lon Eichenberger threw the final inning for the Lakers (4-6).

Ike Rogers had two hits and scored twice for HL, while Jerrad Meinders had two hits.

Lucas Knutson added two hits for the Lakers, while Trevor Leopold had a hit, scored twice and drove in a run.

The Lakers will travel to Fox Lake and Mountain Lake Sunday.
