Fischer-Breuker

Jerry and Char Breuker, Worthington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kala Breuker, to Joey Fischer, son of Rick Fischer and Carolyn Fischer, St. James.

Breuker is a 2001 graduate of Worthington High School, 2003 graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College with an associate’s degree and 2005 graduate of South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She is currently employed at the Swine Vet Center, St. Peter.

Fischer is a 1999 graduate of St. James High School and 2002 graduate of Alexandria Technical College with a double associate’s degree in Caterpillar electronic engines and electric power generation. He also served in the Army National Guard from 1998-2007. He is currently employed as a heavy equipment mechanic for the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation, Mankato.

They plan an Aug. 29 wedding at Fort Ridgely State Park, Fairfax.
