Letter: Walz needs to work for his constituents

Where is Tim Walz? Does he not represent the First District of Minnesota?

By: Albert Henning, Lakefield, Worthington Daily Globe

Where is Tim Walz? Does he not represent the First District of Minnesota? I have made repeated phone calls to his district office to find out where he will be having some information meetings on the health bill that is before Congress and they will not give or have not setup any meetings in the district for that. But he has time to do fundraisers. I have also seen and heard that he has fundraising events set up in the area one on Aug 17 and one outside the district.

As our Congressman it would help him in his job to hear from the people in the district face to face and explain to us why he is not for small businesses as he has a voting record to show for it. He has voted with Nancy Pelosi on all the issues. (http://www.bipac.net/incumbent_detail.asp?gararental@leg_id_num31216 for details.)

Please contact him he needs to hear from the people in the First District and work for the people of the First District.
