WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Foundation is accepting applications for grants to non-profit, non-religious and non-political groups.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Foundation is accepting applications for grants to non-profit, non-religious and non-political groups.

An eligible organization should promote local culture, environmental causes, educational, recreational and civic activities essential to building and strengthening the community. Organizations must have a 501c3 tax status to be eligible.

The Worthington Area Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit philanthropic organization funded by contributor donations.

Grant applications may be picked up at the Worthington Chamber of Commerce office at 1121 Third Ave. The application deadline is Oct. 1. For more information, contact Beve Vajgrt at 376-5794.
