Bakker 50th anniversary
Herman L. and Rose Bakker, Worthington, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at American Lutheran Church, 915 Winifred St., Worthington. A short program will be at 2 p.m.

They were married Sept. 20, 1959, at Aetna Lutheran Church, Ruthton.
The event will be hosted by their children, Herman E. Bakker, Mora, Brenda Beattie, Holmes City, and Hope Bakker, Santa Fe, N.M.; and grandchildren.
