Brief: Volunteers sought for pajama party

WORTHINGTON — The annual Pajama Party to benefit the Worthington Christmas Basket program will be Oct. 10 at the American Reformed Church, 1720 N. Burlington Ave., Worthington. The goal is to sew more than 100 pairs of pajamas.
A minimum of 65 volunteers — 24 cutters, 24 sewers and 17 quality control monitors — are needed. Volunteers need not have sewing skills to help. If not enough volunteers have signed up by Oct. 5, the project will be cancelled for this year.
Donations of money, knit fabrics, the use of a serger for the day and pans of bars are also needed for the project.
