Letter: Do fact checking when drawing health care conclusions
Let’s be critical thinkers. Isn’t health care for all a pro-life issue?By: Mary Henkels, Worthington, Worthington Daily Globe
Let’s be critical thinkers. Isn’t health care for all a pro-life issue? Just because National Pro-Life came out with a statement, do we all jump on the bandwagon or fact check?
I suggest you google to fact check the Hyde Amendment and FOCA, and also google Wendell Potter and read all the facts. Then make up your mind about who is really trying to defeat the health care bill. Also, read the encyclicals of Pope John Paul II (1987) and Pope Benedict XVI on social justice, found under Catholic Social Teaching on the Internet.
Jesus always had great concern for the poor. Do we?
