Letter: Small business owners should complete legislative survey
There is no single group of Minnesotans who understand our economy’s current challenges more than our small business owners.By: Dist. 22B Rep. Rod Hamilton, R-Mountain Lake, Worthington Daily Globe
There is no single group of Minnesotans who understand our economy’s current challenges more than our small business owners.
Entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation have long served as the bedrock of our state’s economic success, employing countless Minnesotans across every industry.
Restoring Minnesota’s economy requires addressing the unique challenges facing our small business community. For that reason, the Legislature has created a new Small Business Caucus-an alliance of Democrats and Republicans dedicated to making Minnesota a better place to do business and putting your interests to work at the State Capitol.
Small business owners can share their ideas and concerns by filling out the caucus’ newly-created legislative business survey. It can be completed online at www.house.mn by clicking on the “Small Business Owner Input Wanted” survey icon under the “Schedules and Updates” section on the right portion of the screen.
Those without Internet access can call my office at 1-800-735-2463 and I’ll see that a survey is mailed them. The caucus will begin tabulating results in December, so all surveys must be completed by Nov. 30.
I look forward to hearing from all of our small business owners.
Together, we can strengthen Minnesota’s economy, and help create an environment that attracts investment and encourages small business growth.
