Donald E. Habicht, 68, of Worthington, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Southridge Health Center, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Shortly prior to his retirement in 2006, Don Habicht stands inside the recently built diesel generation plant that provides standby electrical power in an emergency situation for the City of Worthington. Habicht died Friday at age 68.

Donald E. Habicht, 68, of Worthington, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Southridge Health Center, Sioux Falls, S.D.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Gordon J. Orde officiating. Burial will be prior to the service in Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to First United Methodist Church Pipe Organ Fund or the endowment fund at the Dayton House.
Benson Funeral Home, Worthington, is in charge of arrangements.
