Classes are different things you go to around the school like Spanish and computer. They are in rooms. You go to classes to learn different subjects that people teach you. They are usually about half an hour. In classes you have to pay attention and be good, otherwise you have to take a break or go to the office.
Reading is a fun thing to do. When you read, you look at words on a page and sound out the letters to yourself, or out loud. When you red, you get to pick out cool books. You can read non-fiction books, fiction books, poetry books, and lots of other kinds of books to. When you want to read at school, you can go to the school library to get books, or bring them to school from your house.
In school you see a lot of different things. If you walk into a classroom during a school day, you will probably see students working. If you walk into a cafeteria, you will see tables. When you go outside, you will see playground equipment. If you look inside a music room, you will probably see chairs and instruments.
Announcements at Prairie are in the morning. Fifth graders get to be on the announcements. The fifth graders tell you the temperture, and tell you whats for lunch the next day. They also tell you the birthdays. At the start of the announcements, and at the end, they always play music from a C-D player.
My school is a great place. I think that Prairie is a very nice place with good playground equipment, cool classrooms, a nice library, and much more. And there are also good teachers. There are nice big gyms, and good drinking fountains. I would never want to leave Prairie.
