Education Brief: Local students earn scholarships from Northwestern

WORTHINGTON — Travis Meinders and Amy Schutte, both seniors at Worthington High School, have been awarded academic honor scholarships from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, for the 2010-2011 academic year.

WORTHINGTON — Travis Meinders and Amy Schutte, both seniors at Worthington High School, have been awarded academic honor scholarships from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Meinders received an Academic Achievement Scholarship for a minimum of $1,000 per year. He is the son of Warren and Tammy Meinders of Worthington.

Schutte received a Collegiate Scholarship for a minimum of $6,000 per year. She is the daughter of Paul and Lisa Schutte of Rushmore.
