Myrtle V. Dirks, 85, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, died Tuesday Dec. 22, 2009, at the Country View Manor, Sibley, Iowa.
Myrtle V. Dirks, 85, of Ocheyedan, Iowa, died Tuesday Dec. 22, 2009, at the Country View Manor, Sibley, Iowa.
Surviving are her children, Harold D. (Geri) Dirks, both of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Twila L. (Don) Johnson, Yuma, Ariz.; Charles D. (Ronna) Dirks, Ocheyedan, Iowa; one brother, Mervin John (Elnora) Bates, Ocheyedan, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Ocheyedan, with the Revs. Douglas Harding and Steve Swenson officiating. Burial will be 9:30 a.m. in Ocheyedan Township Cemetery, Ocheyedan.
The Andringa Funeral Home, Sibley, is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials are preferred to the Youth Haven Ranch in Arizona.
