Brief: DNR to host area waters program
WORTHINGTON — The Department of Natural Resources will present an “Our Waters, Our Choices,” program at 1 p.m. Monday at the Nobles County Public Works meeting room, 960 Diagonal Rd., Worthington.
WORTHINGTON — The Department of Natural Resources will present an “Our Waters, Our Choices,” program at 1 p.m. Monday at the Nobles County Public Works meeting room, 960 Diagonal Rd., Worthington.
Open to the public, the meeting will include presentations by the DNR regional hydrologist, DNR waters and DNR fisheries staff. In addition, representatives from the Kanaranzi-Little Rock, Heron Lake and Okabena-Ocheda watershed districts will give brief updates.
The Rock River TMDL, Clean Water Legacy funding and Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council grant program will also be highlighted.
