At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, I will join my fellow Nobles County Democrats at Worthington’s Prairie Elementary when we begin the process of selecting the Democratic gubernatorial candidate for the 2010 fall election. On caucus night, I will cast a ballot for Worthington’s own Matt Entenza.

Matt has never forgotten his hometown of Worthington. Matt once told me he is grateful he had the opportunity to grow up in a community that valued education and families. Matt understands the unique problems facing rural Minnesota and will bring that understanding to the governor’s office. I am proud to support Matt, not because he is our hometown guy, but because Matt is the only candidate with a clear vision of what must be done to build a prosperous future for Minnesota and a proven history of solving difficult problems.

I invite every Nobles County Democrat to join me in supporting Matt Entenza on caucus night, Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Prairie Elementary cafeteria. I hope to see you there.
