LUVERNE — When a mother and father divorce, it is a major life change for all members of the family. Their emotional, psychological, physical and financial well-being needs to be carefully considered.
A “Parents Forever” class will be offered in Luverne to provide divorcing couples — or those contemplating divorce — with the information they need to make decisions.
Sessions and topics are:
Feb. 23: Impact of divorce on adults, child support/MFIP, legal issues and role of mediation
March 2: Impact of divorce on children, Parts 1 & 2
March 9: Money issues and pathways to a new life.
Sessions are from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rock County Family Services Building. Registration deadline is Feb. 16, and there is a fee to attend. For more information or to register, call the Rock County Extension Office, (507) 283-1302.
