Estherville man hurt in snowmobile crash

JACKSON — Jesse Brady Jones, 37, of Estherville, Iowa, fell from his 2006 Ski-Doo MX2800 snowmobile while attempting to climb a hill near a creek at approximately 11:38 a.m. Sunday in the area of 74900 Petersburg Road.

JACKSON — Jesse Brady Jones, 37, of Estherville, Iowa, fell from his 2006 Ski-Doo MX2800 snowmobile while attempting to climb a hill near a creek at approximately 11:38 a.m. Sunday in the area of 74900 Petersburg Road.

Jones was taken from the river to the Jackson Ambulance by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office snowmobile and rescue sled, and then transferred to the Sanford Jackson Medical Center Hospital. Jones was later flown to Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Assisting the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were the Jackson Ambulance Service, the Jackson Fire Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
