Kindergarten Round-Up scheduled for March 22

WORTHINGTON — Prairie Elementary will host its annual Kindergarten Round-Up on March 22. Parents may select one of three sessions: 10 to 11:30 a.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m. or 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to bring their future kindergarteners to the event. Activities are planed to familiarize children with the school, and there will be an informational meeting for parents.
For anyone who does not receive registration information through their child care center or in the mail by March 15, and has a child who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1, please call Jeanette Varuska or Tammi Altman at (507) 727-1250 for assistance in registering your child. Those who cannot attend may drop off the registration materials in the Prairie Elementary office during the school day.
Spanish and Karen interpreters will be available. Those in need of transportation may call Head Start at 376-4195.
