Kendra Mertins and Chris Henning announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Patricia Mertins, Waukesha, Wis., Edward Mertins, Delafield, Wis., and David and Nan Henning, Fulda.
Mertins is a student at Rasmussen College, Mankato, pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is employed by Habilitative Services Inc.
Henning is a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato, pursuing a degree in construction management.
They plan an April 10 wedding.
