John Massa, 94, of Sibley, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Osceola Community Hospital, Sibley.

Surviving is Maye Massa, Sibley; six children, Linda (Max) Schnepf, Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Dan (Marcia) Massa, Sibley, Beth (Chuck) Weaver, Arden Hills, John (Naomi) Massa, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Lawrence (Paulette) Massa, Shoreview, and Melanie (Lee) Seivert, Sibley; two stepchildren, Betty Perkins and Robert (Dottie) Denham, both of Stone Mountain, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m., with a rosary at 3 p.m. and vigil service at 3:30 p.m., at Jurrens Funeral Home, Sibley.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Sibley, with the Rev. John Vakulskas officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery, Sibley.
